Today is a nostalgic day as it’s the last day of my Blogging 101 course. I’ve met so many great people, read some amazing blog posts and have become a part of an amazing community. I absolutely loved the experience and definitely recommend any new blogger to join this course – I wouldn’t know how to do half of the things I’ve done without their tips and ideas! I also learned that blogging is much more than posting – it’s knowing your fellow bloggers, its communicating with your neighbours and getting involved!
Also, I want to apologize for not being able to post as much as used to but I’m having serious internet issues! It has been tough to live without internet (I admit – I’m addicted) but hopefully it should all be solved by the end of the week! I am currently using my phone’s internet (hot spot) to be able to post this! Cannot wait until it’s all fixed!
That said, it’s that day of the week again! The day I just want to stay under the blankets, watch movies and…bake! As I said in the previous “Sunday Pleasures”, I try to keep my winter Sundays clear – no plans, no appointments, no one to meet and no work to do. I focus all my energy in relaxing and pampering myself (unless something comes up). Ah lazy Sundays….how I love you! On these days I like to bake really easy things that don’t take a lot of time and effort. Today I made Cereal Muffins – they are so quick and easy to make and are so good ♥
This is what you need:
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup of vegetable oil
- ½ cup of skimmed milk
- 1 cup of flour
- ¼ cup of brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavour
- 2 cups of cereal (I used Frosties but I believe you can use any cereal and the result will be the same)
Directions: ♥ Grease 12 medium sized muffin cups (I used Fry light butter flavour instead of actual butter) ♥ In a large bowl add the egg, oil, milk and vanilla. Whisk well and add the flour, sugar, baking powder and cereal.Stir until well blended (it’s going to be lumpy because of the cereal but that’s fine!) ♥ Fill the muffin cups 2/3 full with the mixture and put in the oven for about 20-25 minutes. That’s how easy it is! ♥ The result should be something like this: Try it and let me know what you think! Have a lovely Sunday everyone.
