Sunday Pleasures: Blueberry Croissant Puff

Is there anything better than doing nothing on a rainy Sunday? I just love waking up to a full day of laziness. Pyjamas, cosy socks, a cup of tea and a good movie/TV show (it was homeland for me today!). Well Sunday is also cheat day – the day I like to cook something I love even though it might be a bit more caloric (once a week is fine, right?). Have you ever tried blueberry croissant puff? If you haven’t you must try it! It’s the easiest thing to make ever and it’s Y-U-M-M-Y ♥

Blueberry Croissant Puff – Ingredients

  1. 3 Large croissants or 4 medium croissants
  2. 1 cup of milk
  3. 1 ½ cup of fresh blueberries
  4. 1 package of Philadelphia (I used light – something has to be light in this recipe!)
  5. 2 eggs
  6. 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
  7. 2/3 cup of granulated sugar

♥Cut the croissants into pieces and put it in a tray. Sprinkle with blueberries

IMG_1224 ♥ Beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, eggs and vanilla in a medium bowl until well blended. Gradually add the cup of milk. IMG_1229 ♥ Pour on top of the croissant and blueberries. Let it stand for about 10 minutes. IMG_1230

♥ Put in the oven for about 35 minutes or until it gets golden brown on top. You might need to cover it with tin foil in the last 10-15 minutes to avoid burning.

And voila! All done ♥ IMG_1245 IMG_1253 Have a great Sunday and enjoy the little pleasures of life ♥

      1. I will! I’ll have to make it sometime as a special treat for someone’s birthday or something. If the portion size was small I wouldn’t feel as guilty haha!
